Desert traveller with rider
Suited to a lodge entrance, a cultural project or a hotel courtyard. The load — bags, water skins, lead rope — gives the piece something to read from across the room.
Two designs, both cast in brass by the lost-wax method and finished by hand. A desert traveller loaded for the road with his rider, and a seated herdsman with a colour-blocked saddle blanket. Both are made at the scale your space asks for.
A camel reads as a place, not just an animal. The traveller suits a lodge or a cultural project. The herdsman sits quieter in a lobby or a retail window. Tell us which job the piece has to do.

Waxed canvas, padded handles, and a structured base for short trips and everyday carry. Loaded for the road — bags, water skins, a lead rope. Two finishes: antique brown with gold, or verdigris.
Two designs, two different rooms.
Suited to a lodge entrance, a cultural project or a hotel courtyard. The load — bags, water skins, lead rope — gives the piece something to read from across the room.
The quieter piece. The colour-blocked saddle blanket and hand-set tassels carry the detail, so it holds a lobby console or a retail window without shouting.
One wax model per casting, then patina by hand.
Each camel gets its own wax model. It is slower than working from a re-used mould, and it keeps the detail a re-used mould flattens.
Antique brown with gold, or verdigris. Both go on hot and by hand, so no two pieces come out identical. If you need a series to match, we cast a sample first and get it approved in writing before the run.
Every casting is sealed after the patina goes on, so the colour stops darkening and the surface survives handling. Small step, and most buyers only notice it when it is missing.
Both designs are made to your dimensions.
Send the plinth, console or courtyard measurement the piece has to fit, and we cast to it. Handing you a fixed size and calling it custom is not what we do.
At larger sizes the casting is hollow — the wall is kept thin, and the piece still carries real weight for its size.
Silicon bronze is the right call outdoors: it welds cleanly and takes weather better than brass. It costs more, and we quote it separately.
Most buyers start with a reference and a quantity.
A drawing, a photo of the piece you want, or a camel you already own and want cast again at a different size. All three work.
Quantity, the space it goes in, and the window you are working to. We will say plainly what fits and what does not.
Casting, patina, finishing, base and export packaging sit with us, so there is one place to ask when something needs to change.
