Hand-Cast Bronze Sculptures for OEM, ODM & Bespoke Projects

Bronze Sculpture Manufacturer

Custom bronze sculpture manufacturer offering lost-wax casting, hand-applied patina, and OEM/ODM production. We work from 3D files, sketches, or reference images — including life-size and outdoor commissions, from a single piece to repeat production — for B2B clients worldwide.

Why Choose Patinara Art as Your Bronze Sculpture Manufacturer?

From concept development to finished bronze sculpture, Patinara Art provides reliable manufacturing solutions for B2B clients worldwide. Our experienced team combines traditional craftsmanship with efficient production capabilities to deliver custom sculptures to project specifications.

In-House Production
Wax, mould, pour, chase and patina all happen on one site. We're not assembling parts from other workshops and we're not repackaging catalogue stock — which is why we can answer technical questions about your piece instead of forwarding them.
Custom Development
Bring a sketch, a reference photo, a CAD drawing or a finished 3D model. For OEM work we reproduce the original 1:1. When your model needs adjusting to cast cleanly, we tell you what we'd change and why before we touch it — not after the pour.
Lost-Wax Casting
Ceramic-shell lost-wax casting holds undercuts, drapery and facial detail that rubber-mould methods flatten out. It's also what lets us cast hollow, which cuts weight and bronze consumption on large pieces.
Hand Finishing
Chasing, weld clean-up, sanding, polishing and patina are done by artisans, not machine. Surface consistency across a run is judged by eye and by hand against the approved sample — the only way the tenth piece matches the first.
OEM / ODM
OEM: you supply the sample, drawing or file, and we replicate and produce. ODM: you supply the market brief and the budget, and our sculptors develop the design and prototype.
Global B2B Service
We ship to galleries, dealers, designers, hotel groups and corporate buyers across North America, Europe and the Gulf. Export packing, crating and documentation are handled in-house.

Inside the Foundry: How Your Sculpture Is Made

Most manufacturer pages give you six vague steps. Here's the actual sequence, with the parts that cause problems marked.

01 Master mould
A silicone or plaster mother mould is taken from the original sculpture, the clay, or a 3D-printed master. Large works are planned into castable sections here — how many, and where the seams will land.
02 Wax casting
Molten wax is poured or injected into the mould. One wax per finished piece.
03 Wax chasing
Every wax is hand-repaired: seams dressed, bubbles filled, flash removed. This is the last checkpoint before metal
04 Gating & fixtures
Wax sprues and runners are attached to feed metal into every part of the piece. Support fixtures are fitted so the shell can be dipped, hung and fired without deforming.
05 Ceramic shell — five layers, air-dried between each
The wax is coated in five successive layers of refractory sand: two fine, one medium, then two coarse. Each layer air-dries for a full day before the next goes on.
06 Dewaxing
The shell goes into the kiln. The wax melts out and the empty ceramic cavity is fired to temperature. This is what "lost wax" means: the wax is destroyed to create the space the bronze will fill.
07 Pour & shell removal
Molten bronze is poured into the fired shell. The ceramic is then broken away, and gates, runners and support points are cut off.
08 Grinding, welding & chasing
Every cut point is welded and dressed back until nothing reads as a repair. Sectioned pieces are assembled here. This stage is most of the labour in a large sculpture — and most of what separates a good cast from a bad one at arm's length.
09 Sandblasting
The raw cast surface is blasted to a uniform tooth. Patina bites more evenly on a blasted surface than on a polished one — polishing first is a common shortcut, and you can see it two years later.
10 Hot patina colouring
Colour is built in layers with heat, not sprayed on cold. Applied at 18–24°C and 40–50% relative humidity, because humidity is the single biggest variable in whether a patina still looks even in three years. Outdoor and coastal pieces get an additional anti-corrosion treatment.
11 Base mounting, inspection & packing
Wood or stone bases are drilled, fitted and felted to your hardware. The piece is waxed and sealed, inspected, photographed and packed. You see the photos before it ships.

Working From Your 3D Model

Most of our custom projects start with a file. Send STL, OBJ or CAD exports — or just a sketch if that's where you are.

Castability check first.
Walls too thin for the shell, undercuts that won't release, details that won't survive the pour — you hear what we'd change and why before anything starts, not after the metal.
A 3D-printed master pattern comes from your file.
Large works are planned into castable sections at this stage, with seam positions agreed before moulding.
You approve before metal.
Nothing is poured until the pattern and finish plan are approved in writing. A cast, finished sample is approved before any production run — the same gate for one piece or fifty.
Single pieces are normal here.
One-off commissions, prototypes, editions, repeat production — one process, one set of approval gates.
Built for the export leg.
Finished work is packed in export-grade wooden crates and loaded directly into the container — no pallets, less handling — and we coordinate with your freight forwarder.

Finishes & Patina

Traditional brown / antique bronze
—the museum default. Safest for portrait and figurative work.
Dark bronze with relieved highlights
— high points cut back to show metal, so detail reads at distance.
Verde / green patina
— the copper-carbonate look. Popular for garden and outdoor pieces.
Golden / polished bronze
— brighter, and less forgiving: every surface defect shows, so it carries more finishing labour.
Black / near-black
— architectural and contemporary work.
Sandblasted matte
— no gloss, photographs honestly, hides small surface variation.
Two-tone
— recessed areas one colour, high points another.
Custom colour matching
— send a photo or a physical sample and we'll develop a match for approval before the run.
