How each piece is cast

One wax, one casting
Each creature gets its own wax model. It is slower than working from a re-used mould, and it keeps the detail a re-used mould flattens.

Patina in two families
Antique verdigris on the qilin, warm amber on the deer. Both go on hot and by hand, so colour varies slightly from piece to piece — if you need a series to match, we cast a sample first and get it approved in writing.

Sealed with wax
Every casting is sealed after the patina goes on, so the colour stops darkening and the surface survives handling.

Send the reception desk, console or plinth measurement the piece has to fit, and we cast to it.

Hollow above tabletop scale
At larger sizes the casting is hollow — the wall is kept thin, and the piece still carries real weight for its size.

The patina will age
Verdigris and amber both darken slightly over the years. Sealing slows it; it does not stop it. Buy the piece because you like the colour it is today.
Single pieces and volume orders both work.

Pixiu and deer are the usual choices for corporate gift programs. Send the artwork and the quantity, and we will say what the run looks like.
