How the Panther Is Sized and Cast
Nothing here is stocked. Every panther begins as a 3D-printed master pattern, and that pattern is what sets the final size — from a desk piece around 20 cm up past a metre for a lobby. The pattern is printed first; the brass comes after.
Casting is lost-wax, one piece at a time. The facets are the hard part: a flat plane that's a degree off reads as a dent under gallery lighting. Each face gets hand-chased back to a crisp edge before the patina goes anywhere near it.
The patina is applied hot. That's why the colour sits in the metal instead of on top of it, and why it doesn't chip off the first time someone moves the piece.
